If you’re interested in a ewe that throws triplets or spotted lambs, Beyoncé is your girl. We call her “the deer” because she is incredibly athletic and always jumping all over the place. Her hooves grow quickly and have the tendency to twist so they need to be tended to often. She is not friendly and fairly difficult to catch, but when she has lambs she suddenly gets a calm disposition and allows us to work her and her lambs easily. For the past two years she has given us triplets, some of which have been spotted. Although her conformation is not ideal with a slight sway to her back, her lambs have excellent conformation leading us to believe it is not genetic in nature. She does really well feeding 2 of her 3 babies, but both years we’ve had to supplement her third. We think she will very likely have triplets again and we would like to avoid bottle babies with as many ewes as we currently have. If you look under the lambs section at Fajita, he is a beautiful spotted ram she gave us this year. We’re tempted to not sell her because of how beautiful and friendly her lambs are, but those 2 am bottle feedings have us thinking we might want to offer her to a new farm.

There is the possibility of selling her bred to a spotted babydoll ram or white babydoll ram for Spring 2026 lambs.

We will only sell her to a loving home and only alongside at least one other ewe as to ensure their happiness and an easy transition.
